Here at the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. (JWV), we are proud to say that we are the longest running veterans service organization out there.  We were founded in 1896 by a group of 63 Jewish veterans from the Civil War after a series of anti-Semitic comments about the lack of Jewish service in the Civil War.  Since then, JWV has been working hard to be the voice of American Jewry in the veteran community.
